The PTXFT Series Cyclone Dust Collector serves as a pre-dusting device in dust removal systems. Its working principle relies on centrifugal force generated by the rotating dust-laden gas stream to separate particulate matter from the airflow, functioning as a dry gas-solid separation unit. It demonstrates high efficiency in capturing and separating relatively coarse dust particles larger than 5µm. Consequently, this equipment is widely used in industries such as mining, metallurgy, refractory materials, construction materials, coal, chemical, and electric power. However, the cyclone dust collector is highly inefficient at purifying finer dust particles below 5-10µm, especially low-density fine particulates. Therefore, cyclone separators are generally suitable for single-stage purification of coarse dust or for primary pre-treatment in multi-stage purification systems.

When the dust-laden airflow enters the cyclone separator through the inlet pipe at a velocity of 12–25 m/s, its motion changes from linear to circular. The majority of the swirling airflow moves spirally downward along the wall of the cylindrical body toward the cone. During this rotation, dust particles within the gas generate centrifugal force, throwing denser-than-air particles toward the outer wall. Once these particles contact the wall, they lose inertial force and descend along the surface driven by the kinetic energy from the inlet velocity and downward gravity, eventually entering the ash discharge pipe.
